Preseason Matches to look forward to!
Lets start off with harmony tier :

Some early Tuesday matches that you can look forward to are :
Boop! v Miami Yikes.
2 returning teams, Boop! now for their 4th season and Miami for their 2nd. Look to start off this season right with a pre-season win to get some momentum.
Jetpack Cats v Phantasmal
2 teams who were top 6 seeds last season and picked up playoff wins, who both ended up falling to finalists. Can they keep up their strides and momentum, bounce back from playoffs and start the regular season off strong against a battle tested opponent.
2 other small matches :
Flashbacks v Fire Fight (It's my match but a new rumored good team vs the returning champs, let's see if Flashbacks can keep their last season magic or if Fire Fight wants to make a statement early.)
Valkyrie v Koala Kings, to teams new to the community. One an extension of the Pantheon org, while Koala Kings has a really cool logo. This should be a fun one.
Now onto Discord Tier : First lets get this out of the way, there are 16 new teams in Discord Tier this season, only 8 teams are returning/rebranding/making a team for this tier(having a team already in another tier). Discord Tier returners are : Flying Lions, Joey Esports, VCG Esports, Seal Team Spuds. Teams from Pre-Existing Orgs : Delta Threat, Reminiscence, Mechanize, X-Ray.

Matches to look forward to :
I am not going to lie, I don't see any specific match up in round 1 that I know of, every team is new and the tier is wide open.
Some matches that could happen in the future : Seal Team Spuds v Mechanize (Round 2)
A discord returner, with a loaded roster of vets, vs the new expansion of the harmony giants : Modify. Mechanize will have their work cut out for them, but with a roster of champions can they turn the Spuds into Mashed Potatoes?
Flying Lions v Aphelion (Round 3)
Flying Lions seems to be a favorite by name. They went far last season and seemed to keep pieces along with having big named harmony talent : such as Lazuli join them. They look to make a statement in this pre season tournament, Aphelion, with Vet their MT leading the charge who was on Tempest last season wants a piece of Flying Lions, who took them out last season. Watch out if this game happens.
Lastly the Transcendence Tier :
This tier had the most shake up rules wise over the off season going to a 3.3-4k avg. Met with backlash, nobody cared and the community is now better for it.
Some teams that I think are poised to win the tier, based off experience in the previous trance tier or success in discord tier :
Godhand
Ghostly Peppers
Orbit
DIRT
Corvidity
Capraphobia
Now onto the bracket :

This bracket has 4 byes, so every match is juicy.
Matches I am looking forward to :
Battalion v Capraphobia
This is a battle between 2 teams that are hungry. Battalion now fielding a roster with tranq vets from the previous season as well as high profile discord players moving up in Greninja and Anzie, joining a cracked DPS line of PDK and Kairos. Against another Tranq Vet in Kuna, and a FS who's zen perfectly fits the meta and how its played in Fuligin. This is a battle between high profile teams who should be making waves all season.
Some Potential Round 2 matches :
Decapi-Taters v Whirling Wildcats
2 GIANTS of the community, these orgs have always set the tone and path for the rest of the community, they welcome their 2 new trance expansion teams with a possible round 2 match up.
Ghostly Peppers v Tempest
Honestly, this could be a finals preview. Tempest who is hungry has merged with Exodus, the 2nd place team from last year, who lost to you guessed it this teams discord team. The players moved up and it could be a possible rematch on Wednesday! Is it time for these strong winds to build up their spice tolerance for revenge. Or are the ghostly peppers going to make Exodus see Finals Ghosts.
That's it for the first Blog post of the Three Orbs blog
